Organic winegrowers
PWS works in partnership with associations of independent organic winegrowers. These are often rising stars.
Today, PWS has over twenty organic winegrowers throughout France. All come from the finest terroirs and share a common philosophy of producing exceptional wines while respecting nature.
The raw materials, grapes, are organically and/or biodynamically grown without chemical fertilisers, pesticides or weedkillers.

Example of an organic wine: Domaine du Nozay
Le Nozay is a 17th century Château situated to the north of Sancerre. The estate came into the family fold in the 20th century when Baron Philippe de Benoist and his wife Marie-Hélène acquired it in 1970. Keen to create a vineyard, the couple planted their first hectare of Sauvignon Blanc, the king of Sancerre grapes, and over time expanded the area to 15 hectares.
Today, the Baron's son Cyril de Benoist has taken over the reins after training with his uncle Aubert de Villaine, owner of the legendary Domaine de la Romanée Conti in Burgundy.
Cyril is convinced of the benefits of organic and biodynamic farming. The Domaine du NOZAY has been certified Organic since 2011 and Biodynamic since 2017 in order to respect the environment and good farming sense.
Cyril de Benoist's mission is to reach the heights of quality by respecting the vines and the soil. He also achieves this through his talent and judicious production choices (limited quantities, music for the vines and vats, use of amphorae... and many other surprises).
